It is not clear at all especially at night but I have passed this way and it is possible. If you move up to the edge on the western side of the opening, at 47.2, 73.5, there is in fact a very narrow and steep path that leads you down and back up the other side into Badlands. When you approach from Thelsamar/ Loch Modan as before you are faced with what seems an insurmountable chasm with Uldaman on the other side.

Other – a deep chasm runs between Badlands and Loch Modan – it is uncertain as of this time how players will proceed into the zone from Loch. Lethlor Ravine – above the ravine is a neutral Goblin outpost with flight master following the path outside of town and across the opposite side of the ravine leads to a Goblin transporter, but where it leads is unknown at this time - it should also be noted that another goblin-themed town is over the hill and along the coast, with another transporter, so this is presumably how the two towns connect the ravine appears to have been widened in some places. Kargath- buried by an avalanche it has been rebuilt nearby with updated architecture and fortifications in the area near Apocryphan's Rest. Hammertoe's Digsite- the dwarf camp south of the site now contains an Alliance flight path. The best way to this area if you're lower level is to follow a group that is clearing the mobs, but of course that isn't always possible.Comment by 605216Areas affected in Cataclysm:Īngor Fortress- from just south of here all the way to the SW corner of the Badlands is a swath of destruction (named Aggramar's Hammer), with charred desert and the tops of mountains sliced off and glowing with lava.Ĭamp Boff- NW of here is a small Horde camp with a flight master just past this camp is a new dig site into an underground area that appears very similar to Uldaman.Ĭamp Cagg- NE of here is a small Alliance camp with flight master. The Dark Iron mobs, unlike the slaves, don't flee when they get low on health.Īlso, contrary to what the previous poster said, there are boxes to open on the east side of the door that seperates the area in half. Use evasion if you get an add, bring healing potions, and don't attack unless vanish is available. At 45 you should ALWAYS expect an add if you attack a mob - the 48 Dark Iron Taskmasters in particular have a large aggro radius. The "slaves" are hostile to you and will run when they get to about 20% health, so use cripping poision. The boxes you need to open are almost invariably situated near mobs you'll have to clear first. Now as for the Pit itself, the mobs are 45-48, so it can be challenging (if you're 45) or suicidal (if you're below 45). There is also a path that leads down to the bottom of the Cauldron from the south side -look for the path that has railway ties on it (the Cauldron is a bit of a maze so try not to get too frustrated finding your way around). Also, note that the entrances can be easy to miss if you're not careful. The more easterly one only takes you down one level -get off and go west (you can't go east) to catch the second lift down another level. There are two lifts on the north side that take you down to the Pit.

评论来自 AllakhazamThe cave entrances on the north side of the Cauldron marked on the map lead to the Slag Pit. Doing it from Arathi is possible at 40 but not reccommended unless you're prepared to fight off Half a dozen Dwarves per pass. Obviously it's suicide for anyone to attempt from Stranglethorn under level 50 so.yeah. If you're a Warlock Fear them or use Frost Nova if you're a Mage. Emerge in Searing Gorge and keep going North to Thorium Point for FP.Įither way obviously you're gonna get mobbed by Alliance NPCs at Darkshire, Thelsamar and Redridge.

Ride north to Horde FP and then West to Blackrock Mountains. Keep Riding northwest into Burning Steppes. Take the right path at the intersection and follow it through Lakeshire. Take the Right Path and ride north through Darkshire into Redridge. Ride north past the Rebel Camp (Alliance) into Duskwood. Go around the Cauldron and then North to Thorium Point for FP.įrom Stranglethorn Vale (Reccommended Level 55+): Go west (grabbing the Horde-only FP =D) and then South through the hidden pass into SG. Go southwest around the mountains and the Southeast (this is from your PoV, reverse if you're doing this from the map's PoV). Follow the path past Thelsamar and cut across the mountains. Ride through the Alliance-Friendly Pass in Wetlands into Loch Modan. I reccommend having a mount or this will take a LONG time depending on where you leave from.įrom Arathi Highlands (reccommended Level 45+): 评论来自 ThottbotFor Horde, the only way in is via Badlands, Redridge or Warlock Summon.
